Dr. Lempert has a particular interest in rabbit medicine and behavior. She has dedicated her life to advocating for these amazing, and often misunderstood, animals. In addition to continually striving to provide excellent holistic veterinary care, Dr. Lempert pursues clinical research to further medical advancements for exotics. She has published articles in the Journal of Exotic Pet Medicine and has presented her research at veterinary conferences. Dr. Lempert is a member of the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians, the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians, the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
