Associate Veterinarian Needed

If you have experience working as a licensed veterinarian and are seeking employment at an exceptional animal hospital, All-Star Veterinary Clinic has a job to give you! But this isn’t just a job, that’s too simple – this is an experience that you will never forget. We’re looking for an associate veterinarian to assist us in our continual quest to provide our clients with the best veterinary care and service experience they have ever had.

At All-Star, we strive every day to do things differently and challenge the status quo. We do that by placing an extreme emphasis on client satisfaction, by making sure that our employees have a joyful and dynamic environment in which to work, and by doing everything we can to maximize the bond between people and their animal companions. Our mission is to make people’s lives better and we work toward achieving that mission every minute of every day.

Now that you know what drives us, here is a bit about our facility. All-Star was founded in June of 2003 and is located in Westfield, IN, which is in the heart of Hamilton County, just north of Indianapolis. Our newly remodeled facility is approximately 9,800 square feet, with eight exam rooms, a two-table surgical suite, and two treatment areas. We offer digital radiography (dental and general), ultrasound, and endoscopy. We even have a gym on site so you can work out and clear your mind.

What is it like to work here? Once you are fully trained your work schedule will be four weekdays per week from 7:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and every third Saturday from 7:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. You will have one designated surgery day with your other three days devoted to appointments. There are no on-call emergencies or Sunday hours.

You will be directly mentored by the founder of All-Star, Dr. Emily King.  Dr. King is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College Of Veterinary Medicine (Go Vols!) and has over 20 years of veterinary medicine experience. She is a former Division 1 collegiate athlete, is the mother of five sons, and married to the co-founder of All-Star, Richard King.

Your compensation will be based on production. At All-Star if you’re a new graduate, working full-time, and not making $100k annually within 24 months then you would be an exception.  You will have a full support staff to help you maximize your ability to practice gold standard medicine and to minimize those tasks that do not contribute toward that end. We are a very busy practice so as you gain experience and a solid client base, your compensation will reflect that.

At All-Star you will be given the freedom to learn and develop to your fullest potential. We believe that we are not doing our job if our associates do not become better people and professionals during their time with us. There is no limit to what you can achieve here, both as a person and as a veterinarian.

Now, I’m sure that you are thinking to yourself that the above description is simply too good to be true. However, I can assure you that the All-Star experience is very real, very fun, and really cool.

So, you’ve heard the pitch. Who’s ready to apply?  Send your resume to our HR Director Cayla Bittles at We look forward to meeting you!

P.S. Are you a fourth year and want to take us for a test drive before you commit? Then apply for an internship! The All-Star experience is still awesome even when it’s only for a few weeks!
